SYNOPSIS
This 1-day Workshop will help you to develop a better understanding of all things HAZOP (Hazard and Operability Study), in relation to Process Safety Management (PSM), which is now gaining wide acceptance and importance in many industries, especially in the oil & gas, chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical and other process-related industries. HAZOP review is a structured and systematic assessment of a complex planned or existing process or operation in order to identify and evaluate problems and issues that may represent hazards and risks to personnel, equipment, facilities and/or organization.
This practical hands-on workshop will help you to understand the HAZOP review methodology and terminology, its benefits and limitations, the roles and responsibilities of HAZOP participants, and when the HAZOP review technique should be applied to assess the hazards and risks of your process and/or operation.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
