Synopsis
An introduction into the chemistry behind polished concrete floors will be given, as well as the mechanical treatment to polish concrete using various abrasives and machines. The various classes of concrete polishing according to American Standards as well as gloss levels. This seminar will go into detail how to get the highest level of polishing and protection of concrete floors. A comparison will also be made between polished concrete and other protection methods like PU and epoxy. This seminar will also elaborate on differences between polished concrete in Europe and Asia, and explain the aspects of circular construction, which is a hot topic in countries like the Netherlands.
